Dunedin Holiday

The first day of term 3 at school. Arrived back from the south island late yesterday afternoon. Pleased to be away from the cold. The north island has made us all soft. We had a good holiday at mums in Waikouaiti but next time we will stay longer and go in the summer. No more south island journeys for me in the winter. It nearly killed me and probably increased mums power bill ten fold as I had the heat pump on the highest setting. It was nice to see all my friends and old work collegues. Had morning tea at morgan and mahalas kindy teachers house with the girls that i was on the PTA with.

Also spend a few days in Christchurch at my sisters house. Caught up with Jane and Nigel (work collegues from Dunedin who now live in chrischurch). Though the pet RAT gave me a bit of surprise!!

Just a quick note before I go to the Gis Kindergarten Association meeting. I was seconded on to the board this year. Morgan had a party the big one oh (10) on Friday night I made the coolest cake. Iced it to look like Lisa Simpson good ah! Cake was sucky just sponge but the icing was good. I had so much left over I spread it on to french bread and ate it!!

computer training day

Today Bob arrived in Christchurch. He has taken Josh back to the south island for the next school term. They left last night at 4 pm and crossed over on the ferry at 2am this morning arriving in Christchurch at about 10 in the morning.

The girls and I are at computer training at Mangapapa School. This is my 2nd to last session and then the computers in homes people will install a computer in our house for FREE.
